About the Role

Bunyonyi Luxury Resort is looking for a dynamic Sales & Marketing Executive to drive our business growth and brand presence. This role is perfect for a creative, results-oriented professional with a passion for hospitality and tourism. You will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies, managing our online presence, building partnerships with travel agencies and tour operators, and driving direct bookings.

Requirements

  • - Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • - Minimum 3 years experience in sales and marketing (hospitality industry preferred)
  • - Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • - Strong digital marketing skills (social media, email marketing, SEO)
  • - Experience with content creation and graphic design tools
  • - Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • - Knowledge of the tourism and hospitality industry in Uganda
  • - Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • - Proficiency in Microsoft Office and marketing software
  • - Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • - Self-motivated and able to work independently
  • - Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events

Key Responsibilities

  • - Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies
  • - Manage social media accounts and create engaging content
  • - Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and corporate clients
  • - Coordinate promotional campaigns and special offers
  • - Monitor and analyze marketing metrics and ROI
  • - Manage the resort's online presence (website, OTAs, social media)
  • - Create marketing materials (brochures, newsletters, presentations)
  • - Attend tourism fairs, trade shows, and networking events
  • - Respond to sales inquiries and prepare proposals
  • - Conduct market research and competitor analysis
  • - Coordinate with media for press coverage
  • - Manage marketing budget and report on performance
